Killing droughts: The wages of climate ignorance and denial

And why would Salem be immune?  Every ton of CO2 emitted pushes us further and further away from the climate we've known and into the destabilized climate unknown. And if you're a species dependent on agriculture for your food, an unstable climate equals climate chaos, and famine.

Meanwhile, ODOT and Salem's outpost of the Chamber of the 1% are only too happy to remain in denial, triple mortgaging the future to squeeze out a few more bucks for the sprawl lobby today.
